Make your employees happy at work

We examined managing directors, police officers, truck drivers, cooks and engineers. When people work, we research them. And what we know about their happiness: All workers want the same thing.

[How do we work]

There are three billion people working in the world. And about 40 percent of them will say they are happy at work. This means that around 1.8 billion or nearly two billion people are not satisfied with their work. What does this mean for these people and the organizations they work for?
Let's talk about money.
Companies with highly satisfied employees have sales growth three times higher than companies where this does not happen. They outperformed the stock market by a factor of three. Looking at employee turnover, this is half of the company with employees who are unfortunate. The amazing thing is you don't need to spend more money to do this. It's not about table tennis and massage and walking with pets. This is not about fins. It's about how they treat their leaders and the people they work with. For this reason, I would like to share some ideas that happy employees can produce.

Idea number one: in organizations where employees are happy,

What you will find are two things:
Trust and respect.
Managers often say:
"We trust our employees. We give our employees."
And if an employee needs a laptop - and this is a real example - 15 people must approve that laptop. So all those words are appropriate for employees, but are the 15 level approval for a $ 1,500 laptop?

You actually spend more money to approve your laptop. And the employees feel that they might not be truly trusted. So what can an organization do to have a high level of trust? The first organization that comes to mind is Four Seasons. They have great properties all over the world. And their employees are told: "Do what you think is right when you serve customers." When you give this trust to your employees to do whatever they think is right, they feel great. That is why they are known for providing some of the best services in the world.

Idea number two: justice.

The thing that destroys trust in an organization faster than others is when employees believe that they are treated unfairly. Employees want to be treated the same way as other people, regardless of their rank or duration of service or age or experience or job category. When you think of large organizations that have the right to justice, Salesforce comes to mind first. They found that men and women who worked in the same profession with the same professional qualifications received different amounts. So they immediately calculated the difference and invested three million dollars to maintain balance.

Idea number three is listening.

To be a listener that is connected to all types of people, we must learn a number of things. We all learn to listen actively and make eye contact - intense eyes and loving eyes. This is not for listening. Repeating what someone said - this is not about listening. Being humble and always hunting and searching for the best ideas means listening. And employees can feel whether you do it or not. They want to know when to talk with you and share ideas. Did you think about it when you decided? The only thing that everyone appreciates and wants when he talks is knowing that what he says is very important so that you can truly change your mind. If not, what's the point of talking? We all know things that we have to change, things that we have to do differently. The way you behave, how you treat others, how you respond, how you support them determines work experience for everyone around you. Change to become a better person - the world is filled with these mistakes. But to change because there is something you believe in, a goal you have, where you are willing to take any risk because it is so important to you - that is the reason for change. If not, you might need to find another job.
